Munich, December 1st 2010 – InLoox Web App is now available. With this new web client, the project management software InLoox can be used now without Outlook and without any software installation. The producer, Munich-based InLoox, makes its project management solution available anywhere and anytime.
The web client for the project management software InLoox enables project teams to connect via Internet and to work on projects together while being on the move. Unlike InLoox for Outlook, InLoox Web App is a fully web-based online project platform for which no software installation is necessary. Thus, freelance staff and external partners can be easily integrated into the project work.
InLoox Web App can be used in many common internet browsers, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox and is therefore platform- and device-independent. The design and structure of InLoox Web App is derived from Outlook Web App 2010, although InLoox Web App is an independent application. The users can switch between InLoox Web App and Outlook Web App with one mouse click.
Proven features are now available on the move
“InLoox Web App makes professional project management on the web available to everyone. Therefore, the users are completely mobile, they can, however, work on a well-known and user-friendly interface”, summarizes Tiziano Panico, Managing Director of InLoox.
The new web client contains various features for project management that stood the test in InLoox for Outlook. Users can therefore maintain a project list with all current projects and a work package list in InLoox Web App, too. The Project Time Planning keeps all team members up to date about upcoming tasks and important milestones, even if there are short-term changes to the project schedule. All authorized team members can always access the latest version of the project documentation over a virtual project room. Data security is provided by the encrypted connection to the project server which also ensures that all project data is in synch with InLoox for Outlook.
With InLoox Web App, many of the well-known InLoox for Outlook features are available to the users. These include Project Time Planning, Project Time Tracking, Project Budgeting and the Report Designer which creates project reports on the web in a variety of formats at the push of a button.
InLoox Web App has to be purchased together with InLoox Enterprise Server and starts at 290 euros per Named User. More information and a test license is available online on www.inloox.com.
