Munich, January 23, 2024 – The software company InLoox is now offering its project management platform in version 11.6, featuring new and enhanced features. In InLoox 11.6, the workplace serves as the central task hub, providing users with a personalized overview their own tasks and those delegated to their team. The new conditional formatting feature allows for closer and more targeted monitoring of projects according to individually adjustable specifications and rules. Additionally, the solution offers, among other things, optimized mind map functions that save time by allowing creative concepts to be easily reused and directly implemented in projects. Furthermore, the direct printing function for Gantt charts enables better project communication.
"In companies, organizations, and teams, people are increasingly working in different roles within projects. That makes it crucial for everyone – both leaders and team members – to carry out their work efficiently, while always staying on top of the planning, delegation, and implementation of their tasks, and to have a clear presentation of the status and results," says InLoox co-founder and Managing Director Dr. Andreas Tremel.
The workplace in InLoox 11.6 serves as the central hub or homepage for all project work. The view is divided into personal and delegated tasks. Criteria such as status, due date, and project affiliation are displayed for these tasks, allowing them to be prioritized and further organized, so that they can be structured and processed accordingly. Additionally, there is a separate overview for delegated tasks assigned to other team members.
Tasks can be further sorted by their urgency using filters. This allows for the display of all tasks or to filter them by their respective due dates: for example, tasks that need to be completed today or overdue tasks; or upcoming tasks that either already have a deadline or for which no date has been set yet.
The new conditional formatting allows for the automated visual organization of rows and fields in project lists, task lists, or time recording lists when the underlying data meets a predefined condition or threshold.
This feature forms the basis for further data visualization by strategically using colors. It proves particularly useful for clearly structuring project lists or, for example, classifying critical projects in project controlling using a traffic light system or implementing an intuitive early warning system.
