Switch to InLoox Web App and the new InLoox for Outlook Modern Add-in now!
Why? Because from May 2025 on you are no longer able to login with the old InLoox Apps.
With the major release InLoox 12, which is expected to be released in May 2025, the InLoox for Windows App and the old InLoox for Outlook COM Add-In (InLoox Classic Add-In) will no longer be functional.
These clients can then no longer be connected to the InLoox server or the InLoox cloud. You will not be able to access the InLoox project data.

After the release of InLoox 12, you will not be able to log in and access your project data with either InLoox for Windows or the InLoox for Outlook COM add-in. The same applies as soon as you upgrade to InLoox 12 as an InLoox OnPrem user. You can only log in with InLoox Web App or the new InLoox for Outlook Modern Add-in and access your project data. We therefore recommend starting to use the InLoox Web App and the new InLoox for Outlook Modern Add-in to manage your InLoox projects and tasks now.

Request trainingThe clients will no longer be connected to the InLoox database after the end-of-life. If you use InLoox 11, these locally installed clients should be uninstalled on the computers in your organization when InLoox for Windows clients or the COM add-in for Outlook ends. This means that you can no longer log in with InLoox for Windows or InLoox for Outlook COM Add-in and can no longer access your InLoox project data. You must use InLoox Web App or the InLoox for Outlook Modern Add-in.

Simply login to InLoox Web App and you can seamlessly take up your project work where you left it in the old InLoox for Windows or Outlook App. If you use Microsoft 365, you benefit from additional features in InLoox Web App and can use you M365 login as your InLoox Login. We recommend you download the new InLoox for Outlook modern add-in from Microsoft Appsource.

InLoox for Windows and InLoox for Outlook COM Add-in are based on the outdated COM technology, which is no longer supported by Microsoft. Therefore, these clients have only been in maintenance mode since May 2024.
Information about InLoox for Outlook Modern Add-in:
The release of InLoox 12 is planned for May 2025. The exact date is yet to be announced.
For InLoox Cloud customers: On this date, support for InLoox for Windows and InLoox for Outlook COM Add-In will be discontinued. The clients will no longer work. All accounts will be converted to version 12 at the time of release. There will be no parallel operation of InLoox 11 and InLoox 12.
For customers of InLoox OnPrem: The update can be installed by your IT department as usual after the release. You determine the time of installation yourself. (see also: We use InLoox OnPrem - what does this mean for us?)
For customers of InLoox 10 PM: We highly recommend you upgrade to InLoox 11 as soon as possible. Please contact the InLoox support team to make an appointment for the upgrade.
You decide when you want to update to InLoox 12. Once the update has been performed, InLoox for Windows and InLoox for Outlook COM Add-In will no longer be able to connect to your InLoox server.
A downgrade to version 11 is not possible. Only the import of a backup of the SQL databases and the OnPrem server would reset the status at the time of installation.
The further development of InLoox will only take place in InLoox 12 in the future.
InLoox provides the new InLoox for Outlook Modern Add-in. This is compatible with both classic Outlook and the new Outlook. In addition, it is also possible to connect the Outlook inbox and calendar in InLoox Web App (for MS365 customers with Exchange Online). Technical information on installation can be found here.
