Since InLoox 11.14, the snapshot feature is available in the Gantt planning of InLoox Web App. The snapshot function in the planning allows you to record the current status of the Gantt plan. You can use it to visualize changes and delays of activities, summary activities and milestones in the Gantt plan.

Create, show, hide or delete a snapshot

Snapshot feature in InLoox Gantt

  1. Open a project in InLoox Web App and click on Planning.
  2. Click on the snapshot icon at the top and then on Create snapshot. The snapshot is immediately displayed in the Gantt chart.
  3. To hide the snapshot, click on the snapshot icon at the top and deactivate the slider of the created snapshot.
  4. If you want to delete a snapshot, click on the snapshot icon again and on the red trash can icon next to the snapshot you want to delete. InLoox will ask you again whether you really want to delete the snapshot.

Information in the snapshot

If you move the cursor over a planning element of a snapshot in the Gantt chart, you receive the following information:

  • Delay warning
  • Warning for overruns

All planning elements contained in the snapshot that lead to delays or overruns are colored red. This allows you to see immediately which plan changes have led to project delays and the extent of the delays.

If plan changes lead to time savings, then these planning elements of the snapshot are colored green.

TIPPS

  • You can show up to three snapshots in the planning.
  • If the snapshot display is too small, you can increase the row height in the Gantt. Click on the dots on the right and select the line height Large or Very large.
