The InLoox stopwatch allows you to record the time spent on a task precisely to the minute and assign it directly to a project.
Note This feature was released with version 11.5.2 and is only available in InLoox Web App.
You can either start the stopwatch in the task itself or start the stopwatch in the workplace.
Proceed as follows:
1. Open a project-related task of your choice.
2. In the task, you can record the time spent manually as usual or use the stopwatch to the right.
3. To stop the time for a task, start the stopwatch by clicking on the play button.
4. The stopwatch will now run until you either:
Info When the time is running, you can also see this in the status display at the top left of the menu. Here you will find the tasks for which you have started the stopwatch but not yet completed the time recording. Here you also have the option of pausing/restarting the stopwatch for the tasks or discarding the time recording completely by clicking on the recycle bin Delete stopwatch.
Info The stopwatch can be paused and restarted as often as required and the times are added together.
Note Only one stopwatch can be active at one time. If you activate a stopwatch for a new task, the previous one is automatically paused.
As an alternative to starting the stopwatch directly in a task, you can also start the stopwatch from the workplace.
Next to each task, you will find a small play icon that allows you to start time tracking with just one click without having to open the task first.
As soon as the stopwatch is running, you can see this by the red blinking button next to the task. You can now start working on the task and the time will be recorded.
If you now click on the red flashing button, the stopwatch for the corresponding task is paused.
The play button is then no longer gray but orange - which means that time has already been recorded but has not yet been booked on the project.
The stopwatch can be paused and restarted as often as required, the times are added together.
To stop the stopwatch for a task completely and book the time on the project, use the status display at the top left of the menu and click on the checkmark.
You also always have the option of pausing the stopwatch or deleting it completely via the status display.
Note Only one stopwatch can be active at one time. If you activate a stopwatch for a new task, the previous one is automatically paused.
